Hatmaker melin has started an international tour, and the first stop is Little Havana. melin has long been known for tying performance fabrics into classic headwear styles, but in their latest MILL Collection, they’re exploring natural fibers with traditional roots.
The Little Havana collection takes inspiration from guayaberas, aka the Cuban smoking shirt, and honestly, it couldn’t have come at a better time. Now that summer temperatures are at their peak, melin is here with a pair of hats made from a 100% Italian linen exterior with brass ventilation grommets, and a leather adjuster strap.
Finishing touches include a sizing strap and under-brim logo made of a rich tobacco brown pull-up leather, geometric pattern lining, and a secret stash pocket just above the brim.
You can find them in both natural and olive linen for $180 at melin.
